HOW HAS FARMS CHANGED THE WE ARE NOW
When my Nana owned her farm with my granddad she said that farming has changed a lot.
She said that the tool have changed. The tools have got more technical because trucks and digger have now got gps in them and computer that make them go. There are way different tools back then compared
to now. They had one two wheeler motor bikes and they didn't have trucks to cart their things around on and no post divers and they made hay not silage. they killed their cattle and sheep and sometimes a pig. My Nana did milk but for their own milk and didn't milk so early in the morning. If something broke down they would take it to the local garage or if it was something big a mechanic would come from town and fix it or you would take it into town. Nana didn't need to use clippers to shear the sheep, they used electric shearing machine.
There were no big farms like now they were only about 300/400 acers. There were dairy farms and sheep farmsbut more sheep farms than now. There were were farms on hills but my nanas one was on flat ground. People owned farms unlike now there are companies thatown the farms. The way safty was was back the n compared to now it way different. Motorbikes and tractors are different have safety cabs, just a rollnbar. If you wanted someone driving and someone throwing hay off the back of a truck
