HOW HAS SCHOOLS CHANGED OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS AND HOW HAS IT IMPACTED ON YOUR LIFE?
my grandmother went to school in about the 1950s.Itwas very different to what it is now. When theymaths they measured in pounds ,inchs, yards instead of centermetres, tones and kilometers
they didnt do much fitness and they didnt do any cross countries but they did do sports for example netball, soccer, rugby and many more.
Some of the subjects at school are tech, writing nature study, maths and social studies. When they did tech the girls did cooking and fabrics and the boys would do wood work and metal work but now they get to do everything.when it was writing time the teacher would write something on the board and they would have to copy it into there books to see if they were neat enough.
School started at 9am and went onto 3pm, normally grandma would bike take the tram walk or take the trolley bus.
Some of the games that they used to play are marbles ,spinning tops, tag, rounders (its like tea-ball but with your hands) and 5s.
As you can see, school has changed because the world has learnt more,
