How has school changed over the past 50 years?
50 years ago they used pens that you dip into ink but now we just use pens with ink in them or pencils.
Back then you got to have milk at school and it was for free but now they don't even sell milk at school and you get no food at school for free.
They used to have black boards with chalk but now we have white boards with whiteboard markers and smart boards.
Back then they had the cane to discipline kids with when they were naughty but now they are not allowed to hurt kids with anything.
50 years ago the schools were very strict but now they are not as strict.
They did not have to pay for school but now we do.
Back then if you were naughty sometimes you would have to write 100 lines "I should not be naughty" after school but now you just get yelled at.
Boys went to woodwork for manual and girls went to cooking. Today both girls and boys learn cooking and woodwork.
50 years ago all sewing was done by hand but now we have sewing machines.
