Jenna's finding

After interviewing my mum i found out a lot about fashion even about her fashion life and how she found it. First of all i found out that the fashion back then was not so different there are changes though like the leather jackets only bad boys would wear them but as my mum put them they were called teddy boys and that my auntie used to date one and is now married to one. I also found out that no girl wears frilled skirts like they did back in the days and you don't see much people wearing twin sets. My mum wore her first halter neck dress that was especially made for her she wore it to her first formal and said it was lovely to dance in. My mum went to shops in Dunedin called butter Fields and D.I.C and small department stores. The D.I.C used to be on the block that night 'n' day in the octagon is. In Dunedin when my mum was grown up the most expensive shop back then was Arther Barnett's if you wanted more expensive clothes. My mums sister was a dress maker so they didn't have to worry about buying to many clothes. Many there is differences to fashion but fashion is the same as other fashions though the days but fashion will carry on being dresses and jeans and skirts. By Jenna
